Joe and I needed a vacation badly! We arrived at our destination just before sunset, unpacked our things, an immediately took Gus for a quick swim before pouring gin gimlets with a splash of tonic and easing back on the deck chairs to watch the moon rise in the east.
This morning, after fussing with the wi-fi router I brought along, I managed to get everything hooked up to check email. Not a bad view from the laptop.
Today was a bit chilly with a breeze, but not too bad. Who can complain about sunshine, no worries, and a week to enjoy. The forecast is for 80 and sunshine for the next several days. This evening, we’re returning to one of our favorite restaurants. Way up where we live, we don’t have restaurants this good, so dining out is a priority here.
